Education campus Aron Menczer, 1030 Vienna
At the site of the Bildungscampus Aron Menczer in Vienna's 3rd district, a teaching staff of 138 will take charge of some 1100 children aged between 0 - 14 years. This educational facility will offer space for three groups of infants, eleven nursery groups, a pre-school class, and an all-day primary school with 16 classes. With seven rooms for youngsters with special educational needs and four classes offering pupils special care, the Campus Aron Menczer will also be the first educational facility to include a school for severely disabled children.
This complex will also fulfil a community function typical of such "Campus+" projects by incorporating a sports hall, two gymnastics rooms, a music school, an assembly hall, as well as a hard sports area available for use by third parties and residents of Aspanggründe. As a modern facility, the Bildungscampus Aron Menczer will thus not only offer a new and innovative space for children to live and learn but will also regenerate the adjacent quarter by providing added value at the same time.
This project takes the form of a public-private partnership (PPP) with the City of Vienna. The facility is due to open its doors to pupils at the start of the 2021/2022 academic year.
